These Drag Racers Take to the Dirt and We Love It

Just when we thought that drag racing on solid ground was complicated, along comes another form of racing that would make things even more difficult. Just imagine that the surface below wasn’t guaranteed to stay there when a rig launched. Instead, said surface was ripping up with the back tire as the driver laid into the throttle. With dirt drags, that’s exactly what we’re up against. Drivers try to do their best not only to set up their machines to be ready to go faster than the guy in the next lane but also to be able to outrun the volatility of the surface. Grabbing traction in the most unlikely of places is something to be admired here.

In this one, we check out a video of a couple of dirt draggers that have the intensity turned up to 11. For those who thought that seeing dragsters in action on concrete was impressive, seeing these things trying to conquer the dirt is a sight for sore eyes. It’s an experience to watch as they rev up and spit out a wake of brown. The machines end up screaming as loud as possible while the drivers sway back and forth. It’s all a part of the challenge to make their way down the track and through the finish line. These things are really a pure joy for all the senses as they hit the dirt with a vengeance. The combos really make their presence felt as drivers have to have nerves of steel. It’s a full-time job to be able to make these things work all the way down the track.

Check out the video down below that puts us on the scene of the action. It really ends up giving us a perfect perspective to bear witness to these incredible dirt freaks. Adrenaline starts rolling as they plant down hard and get to business. When it comes time to get to racing, it really seems like these things are all work and no play which really makes it a great time.
