Jeremy Clarkson Tests the Almost Legal F1 Car Available Straight From Aston Martin

In terms of what automakers have been coming up with, we can’t help but love it when some really push the envelope. With a machine like the Aston Martin Vulcan that costs over $2.4 million, we aren’t quite sure that very many enthusiasts are going to have the opportunity to get their hands on this one.

Even for those that do have the dough, just 24 examples of this thing exist worldwide. However, just thinking about the idea that a company like Aston Martin is going to take out the time to create something like this means that we’re in a good place in the car community. Surely, some of these ideas translate to their other, more common cars.

This time, we get the inside scoop of exactly what it would be like to own one of these monstrous machines. At 820 hp, this isn’t the most powerful car on the market. However, we throw in the racing heritage that is apparent throughout in this track-only car and the horsepower doesn’t even begin to spell the story of the Vulcan. The car has so much to offer as a racing machine that it’s pretty crazy that someone could just go straight to Aston Martin and buy something like this. They did make sure, however, to provide a training course for anyone crazy enough to buy one.

In this one, we get to follow along with the car that blasts to 60 mph in less than three seconds and accelerates up to 200 mph up top.

Down below, the one and only Jeremy Clarkson takes on the almost street-legal F1 machine with a full head of steam. While it was designed for the track, one Vulcan owner did decide to legalize their version with things like headlights, an engine remaps, altered gear ratios, and turn signals to make it street legal!
