Jet Powered Horse Carriage Might be the Wildest Build We’ve Ever Seen

Within the automotive community, there are definitely a lot of interesting builds to behold. When someone is really unleashed with a lot of creativity and a nice set of tools, we never really truly know what’s going to come of it. Many times, the surprise factor comes in the form of a combination that we had never seen before. Stacking an engine in a platform that has never seen said engine can be a way to grab the attention of the community.

This time, though, we check in with a particular build that goes above and beyond when it comes to exercising that concept. Not only did this one pair together an unlikely engine and chassis combination. It completely retools the way that we think a lot of folks will look at a custom build.

When it comes to unconventional, we think that the Thunder Buggy is basically the image that would be next to that word in the dictionary. Basically, as you probably deduced by now, the combination is rather simple but really is a head-scratcher. The blueprint takes the likes of a jet engine and pairs it with a buggy that would typically be pulled around by a horse. I guess that we can say that this one certainly has gone through a little bit of an upgrade when it comes to horsepower.

As far as we can tell, it looks like the buggy makes a round of appearances at all sorts of different events. We were unable to find a video of it really cranking out the capacity of that jet engine. However, just seeing this thing roll forward definitely has the gears in our head turning and wondering what exactly it was that provoked such a thought to kick off such a creation in the first place. We have to give it to the creators behind this one, we can’t say that we have seen anything even relatively close to what this concoction is bringing to the table.

Firing back from the pandemic. We're still here!
