Mad Man Colin Furze is at it Again… Old Battered 1960’s Bumper Car Crossed with a Sports Bike!

Colin Furze is doing what Colin Furze does best: taking a couple of unexpected things and combining them into one really cool project!

Furze rounded up a retired bumper car from the 1960’s and hacked it apart, reserving the body and some of the key components to be used in the final product. When the time came to source power for the build, Colin went completely overboard, pulling the 100 HP engine out of a CBR 600 sport bike. After fabricating a frame for the engine itself, Furze does a beautiful job of welding up a dual exhaust system for the bumper-car-gone-mad.

We don’t get to see the finished project, but since it is a build for Top Gear, we are treated to some of Colin’s hilarious interactions with The Stig, which go exactly as you’d expect. Check back with us, we definitely want to see how this project turns out!
