Man in a Wheelchair Tries 50-Foot Jump On Mega Ramp

In this world, it can definitely be a challenge to get motivated sometimes. However, there are definitely some folks out there who are always pushing the envelope in such a way as to make you want to go out and do your best every last waking moment that you have. For example, for somebody who lives their day-to-day life in a wheelchair, one could probably see how such a lifestyle could tend to take away some of the motivation for the dreams of catching big air and chasing down all of the adrenaline rushes that extreme sports have to offer. However, in the case of Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham, he absolutely refuses to let the situation get to him but instead appears to want to push the envelope even further.

In this one, we have quite the case of trial and error as he attempts to go big and go big he does. However, it certainly doesn’t come without its fair share of scrapes and bruises along the way, even to the point where his specially built chair ends up succumbing to the beating that he’s putting on it.

The task at hand here is to head out to Bob Burnquist’s “Dreamland,” an extreme sports paradise, to try his luck at spanning a 50-foot gap. All of this is being done, of course, while Wheelz is firmly planted in his wheelchair. We would imagine that has to take quite the amount of dedication and mental toughness to throw yourself through the air like that in any scenario, let alone one like this where Aaron might not be able to break his fall quite as effectively. Honestly, just watching this one will get you pumped up!

By following along with the video below, we get quite the inspirational track that has this wild wheelchair wielding stuntman going big and trying to accomplish a massive goal. It doesn’t look like, at least in this video, like he managed to come down smoothly but we would venture to say that the journey is a lot more meaningful than the destination sometimes and it looks like one heck of a time trying to make big dreams come true.
