Perhaps, it’s a basic and affordable tool that isn’t in the collection that’s holding you back. On the other hand, maybe we can look at something as simple as making better use of the tools that you do have. This time, we get something that might be a little bit of a mix of both.

The SmarterEveryDay YouTube channel really strives to help its viewers learn something with every video. In this particular video, we learned about the simple concept that a lot of people aren’t aware of. It could end up paying off big time. We’re talking, of course, about making the most of leverage.

Now, to some extent, everybody knows some sort of basic idea of how the concept works. We know that it could potentially help to lift something differently. However, with a couple of simple tools, it could make lifting or moving an object of your choice far easier.

In the demonstration shown here, the help of a snatch block will even go so far as taking the power of a winch and doubling it! If a winch user was told that they could double the capacity of their unit, it will be almost stupid not to look into it. That’s precisely what we have here with just a couple of slight alterations.
