If you’ve been a fan of Street Outlaws, you probably remember that crazy silver 1982 Oldsmobile Cutlass piloted by John Andrade himself that would head out in the streets and put on a show. Now, it has been some time since the car has competed on the list but that isn’t to say that Andrade isn’t still out there and competing with this thing. In fact, we would argue that the Cutty is in better shape than ever, laying down big power and still kicking behind in between those concrete walls when it comes time to throw down!
This time, the action is coming from North Star Dragway as we get just a taste of what the silver G-Body has been up to as it lines up with a white Fox Body Ford Mustang and the pair throws down, offering up some healthy competition that looks like it could have gone either way! However, when it comes time to get competitive, there can only be one person who takes home victory and this time, it looks like the Cutty was the one that would have what it took to put together all of the elements of a good pass, finding a way to yank down that victory which is definitely something that’s easier said than done.
If you check out the video down below, you’ll be able to get a little bit of a refresher on the car that might just make you fall in love with it all over again! There’s just something special about this old G-Body that really has the ability to reel in your attention and make you want to see what it’s going to do next. For now, though, you’re just going to have to chew on this victory to get your fill of The Cutty!
Me and my brother in the Semi Finals the other night. I squeaked out the W this time.
