Tesla Released Limited Edition “Sexy” Booty Shorts For $69.420 (We’re Not Kidding)

Close your eyes and picture the CEO of a major automotive manufacturer.

For most people, they’re probably picturing a rather stiff looking individual wearing a professional but bland suit. Don’t get us wrong, when shareholders control everything, a boring CEO has been the norm. One false move and the stock plummets. Before we know it, this CEO is on the first plane out of town.

However, over at Tesla, Elon Musk is really breaking the mold. He doesn’t really seem to care what anyone’s definition of, well, anything is! The guy just seems to write his own rules.

Just to recap, this is the same man who has been known to sell flamethrowers as a side project and has been seen making shareholders lose their collective minds after smoking some reefer with Joe Rogan. Long story short, he’s anything but a typical CEO.

In one of the latest moves from Tesla, they actually decided to do a run of branded booty shorts. For those who haven’t seen the meme going around, the first four Tesla models released in the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y spell out S-3-X-Y or “Sexy.”

We can’t tell if this was calculated or a beautiful coincidence. Knowing Musk, we wouldn’t be shocked if it was a little easter egg for fans. Either way, he seems to be capitalizing on the idea by printing it on the back of booty shorts.

The shorts that sell for $69.420 (another easter egg of sorts) were announced on Musk’s Twitter July 5th and have already been sold out on the website. Folks have taken to eBay with their orders already as a plethora of completed eBay listings show people buying them for over $100 a pop.

The ad with the shorts reads “Celebrate summer with Tesla Short Shorts. Run like the wind or entertain like Liberace with our red satin and gold trim design. Relax poolside or lounge indoors year-round with our limited-edition Tesla Short Shorts, featuring our signature Tesla logo in front with “S3XY” across the back. Enjoy exceptional comfort from the closing bell.”

It appears as if these limited-run booty shorts aren’t the only thing available in the Tesla store. Enthusiasts can also grab all sorts of apparel, diecast collectible cars, and even a portable Tesla power bank to charge small electronics.

We’re not sure how nobody in the industry has been trying things like this. It almost seems like a branded store would be a no-brainer as not only extra revenue but also a means of advertising and brand loyalty building.

Hey, maybe at the end of the day, this Musk fellow actually knows what he’s doing, after all!
