In this day and age, it really seems like vehicles are reaching some pretty incredible price points, especially when you look at where some of these vehicles might have fallen in the price bracket just a couple of years ago. With something like a Lincoln Navigator, you probably remember an SUV that was based on its little brother, the Ford Expedition. The big and bad luxury machine basically took the liberty of spicing up the platform to add a more luxurious taste, borrowing some of Ford’s features and adding a little bit of flair which also added to the price tag.

The Navigator is definitely a nameplate that has gone through ebbs and flows, changing with each generation to try and become the SUV that the customer said that they wanted. In this one, Doug DeMuro gets his hands on the 2018 version of the vehicle and gives the all-new Lincoln his good old fashioned rundown, telling us exactly what it is that makes such an SUV worth an astonishing $100,000. It’s pretty crazy that these vehicles have been able to rack up such a reputation that companies like Lincoln are able to ask six figures for them, however, respected journalist, Doug DeMuro, hints that, to the right customer, it could be worth every penny.

What could make an SUV worth half of a house? Well, this time, we strive to find out that and more. After tuning into this one, be sure to tell us what you think of this take on the nameplate that has seemed to find a way to come quite the distance from its roots to allow the brand to ask people for a lot of coin to get behind the wheel. Do you think that an SUV like this could really be worth that much money? I guess that the value is in the eye of the beholder with something like this!
