This Sequentially Blown and Turbocharged Diesel with Nitrous is Insane! Engine Dyno!

When it comes time to make your power, there are lots of methods to choose from. First and foremost, you should probably elect to either go with a gasoline or diesel powered setup and, as you can tell, whoever was behind this monster of an engine chose to go the diesel route.

Now, with the diesel engine, you might expect to see a couple of turbos on one of the big boy setups. Heck, it might even be three or more of them but this time, we check out something that’s a little bit different and it’s as bad to the bone as it gets. This thing really makes the torque angels sing when it opens up and goes to town.

Not only does this engine make power with a set of turbos, but it’s also hooked up with a rather impressive supercharger to up the ante just a little bit. If all of that wasn’t enough, we also learn that they’re spraying it with nitrous as well. From the looks of things, this engine appears to be sucking in as much air as it possibly can as all four of these power adders go to the limits to push boost through the combination. However, we learn that the Wagler Competition Products creation is being tested conservatively here as the Ultimate Callout Challenge was right around the corner and they didn’t want anything to break just yet!

We aren’t exactly keyed in on how much power this thing is making but at the end of the day, it’s cool to watch no matter if the figures are presented to you or not. It’s not every day that you see three different forms of power adder making one motor run to the max!

WCP DX500 Second Dyno Session

The sequentially blown and turbocharged #DX500 is a tough nut to crack, but we made serious headway last night! The team spent all day creeping up on it and kept improving with each run. Here are three pulls that show our progression. We got a little greedy with the water and nitrous in the second pull, but flames are cool. There is a lot left in it, yet Jeremy Wagler decided to play it safe and not do a full RPM sweep with the Ultimate Callout Challenge being next week. Special thanks to the guys at S&S Diesel Motorsport for the marathon dyno session!#WaglerUSA #UCC2017 Precision Turbo & Engine PSISuperchargers Nitrous Express
