Some claim that they have power, but few can just fire up their cars and instill fear in their competitors before even launching down the drag strip.

Chris Redden’s blown Chevrolet Nova is one of those rare cars. This time, when we catch up with the stellar ride, it’s making a few test hits, the first of 2015.

During the first pass, the car doesn’t want to bite, throwing Chris toward the wall and calling for an excellent save, but on the second pass, the Nova hooks and books its way to a 7.26-second pass at 191.67mph.
