Sometimes, we can’t help but be amazed by the things that people are able to put together. Sometimes, that amazement is out of admiration for the effort that a certain build took. Other times, this amazement comes because we’re not quite sure what we’re looking at or why it was constructed in the first place. However, we couldn’t look at something like this lawnmower and simply just pass it by.

This time, what we’re looking at is none other than a twin-turbocharged lawnmower. Now, believe it or not, the concept of lawnmower racing actually isn’t anything new. There have been competitive events that surround racing a ride-on lawnmower. However, what differentiates this lawnmower from the rest is that it’s not a ride-on unit. Instead, it is very much a real push mower.

Strapped to the front of the mower, though, are none other than a set of turbochargers. When going over this build and looking at what it is, it’s kind of hard to figure out what the point is here. A vehicle like this is only going to be able to go as fast as the person walking behind it is able to move. Perhaps, the turbochargers will contribute to greater blade velocity. On the other hand, though, maybe the build is just a product of somebody looking to do something different.

By following along with the video below, we’re introduced to the incredibly obscure yet intriguing contraption. Someone definitely invested a good amount of effort in order to mount these turbochargers to the front of the lawnmower. All that’s left to do is see this thing in use or under full throttle. It really has us wondering if such a combination could help to cut down on the amount of time to take to mow the lawn.
