One of the best things about art is that it can take place in just about any form imaginable. That’s the beauty of it all. It doesn’t really matter where you’re being creative. Some people prefer a medium like a traditional canvas. Others prefer to work on a full-size car.
This time, the art comes in the form of a diecast car. Reminiscing of the days when we used to play with Hot Wheels cars, the DieCast Customs YouTube channel takes us on a walk down memory lane. This time, though, it isn’t as simple as popping something out of the box admiring it.
Instead, we find a completely custom creation that pays insane attention to detail in every way. In fact, if we were to call this creation a toy, it would be a great insult to the amount of work that has gone into perfecting it.
This Hot Wheels car started off as a traditional-looking Chevrolet Nova. However, it wouldn’t stay that way for long. Instead, this creator immediately started stripping the car down. Before we know it, it’s nothing more than a pile of pieces and it’s time to start modifying. From trimming to paint and even creating a couple of custom pieces from scratch, eventually, the finished picture starts to come into focus.
By following along with the video below, we get to watch the entire thing go down from start to finish. When all is said and done, the finished project looks eerily similar to the real Murder Nova from Street Outlaws. It even has the fender exit exhaust, wheelie bars, and a racing spoiler. In terms of diecast creations, this is about as good as it gets. When we consider how small the car actually is, that attention to detail is all that much more impressive.
