No matter what our opinions or how many facts we have to back them up, there’s going to be a constant back-and-forth over what source of power adder is the best. Some prefer the hit that you get from nitrous, others love the spool of a turbo, and a third group prefers everything that a supercharger has to offer. There really is no right formula to win but we really need to take a look at all of the different possibilities that you have and what their benefits and drawbacks are. Depending on your setup and goals, any of the above could really be the most beneficial for you.

This time, we check out a video that has started a little bit of drama in the YouTube community as these opinions are flying back and forth again over what kind of forced induction is the best. Not too long ago, internet mechanic, Scotty Kilmer put out a video detailing why he thinks that the supercharger is better than the turbo, however, as you might be able to see, there’s definitely a strong opposition to that opinion even though there are also people who support the sentiment that superchargers are the way to go.

The video below detail’s BigKleib34’s opinion one exactly why he thinks the entire supercharger being dominant argument isn’t exactly what it’s cracked up to be. Instead, it sounds a little bit like he’s more in the camp of doing your research and applying It to your situation instead of just taking the one-size-fits-all, “buy a supercharger” approach that he thinks should really be more custom tailored to the individual.
