This is most certainly one of those scenarios as we tune into a clip from the Texas Mile that has a Ford GT accomplishing something that really goes beyond incredible and starts to explore past that, staking its claim and territory in nothing short of a legendary status.
Why was this GT, in particular, so great? Well, this time, we watch as the angry sounding blue oval manages to muster up 293.6 mph, setting the world record for the fastest standing mile pass in a Ford GT and the fastest ever pass to happen at the Texas Mile event. At this rate, it doesn’t look like it’s going to be too long before we see 300 mph in the standing mile out there in Texas.
Check out the video down below to see just what a car that is capable of achieving 293 mph looks like. A big hats off goes to M2k motorsports on the massive accomplishment as their concoction goes straight to the front of the pack! It’ll be interesting to see if they’re able to push this car much further to get to that next century mark.
