Can Gasoline put OUT a fire?

For some reason, YouTube experimenters and their viewers alike seem to have some fixation on dry ice. With its obscure properties that freeze whatever it touches, it’s not too hard to see why this substance happens to be popular among viewers. Watching it go head-to-head with other substances and random objects can be quite interesting to watch.

This time, we check out a video from The King of Random as he takes his collection of dry ice and puts it against another chemical that his subscribers have been clamoring to see when he decides to make it clash with gasoline. When you throw fire into the mix, seeing how these two substances interact could be interesting to witness.

In this one, we watch the highly controlled experiment as holes are drilled in the ice and filled with gasoline then ignited. There are also other scenarios here where gasoline is lit before dry ice is introduced of the equation. At one point, we even see what happens when gasoline is introduced to a fire to see if this counter-intuitive method will actually put the fire out.

Check out the video down below that will take you along for the ride with these different experiments that show you what happens when these two interesting candidates are combined together for a couple of experiments that you won’t want to miss.
