EXPENSIVE Racing Engine Fails. In HD!

One of the things about drag racing or any kind of racing, for that matter, is that things can unfold in the most unpredictable of ways. Just when you thought you had everything figured out, a freak accident might come to the surface that could take the day that’s been going pretty well so far and contort it into something that highly resembles a worst-case scenario. After all, with so much time and money investment on the line, if something goes wrong, it’s a pretty big letdown. However, there’s nothing that you can do in these situations outside of shaking it off and trying again next time.

In the compilation, thanks to the guys over at Urban Hillbilly Action Videos, we check out a whole variety of different races where maybe the driver was on point, however, the equipment behind the race didn’t exactly put together a pass as according to plan.

Instead of holding together and running out the back end of the drag strip, providing a successful pass, these guys show us what happens when too many moving parts come together in a way that doesn’t exactly collaborate perfectly as one thing or another leads to engine failure.

It definitely goes without saying that some of these builds end up worse off than others but no matter what, if you start off the pass looking good and end with your ride in the pits having to undergo repair, It’s definitely something that is going to bring the morale down, at a bare minimum, if not ending in a spot that hits the bank account as well.

After checking out this collection of clips that shows the cars that simply weren’t having it, the next time you go to wrench on something, you might think of this video and maybe pay closer attention to what it is that you’re doing as to not have an engine failure yourself… not that you can ever really see it coming or do much to prevent it completely!
