Honda Has New Technology That Prevents a Motorcycle from Falling Over

Honda is well known for creating some of the most advanced robotics in the world. From their humanoid ASIMO robot to this Riding Assist motorcycle system, the engineers at Honda are constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of automation.

This riding assist system bolts onto the front of a production sport bike chassis and allows the bike to stand up on its own, with or without a rider on board. It adjusts the angle of the front fork to provide a more stable track, and can even allow the bike to follow the owner around like a two-wheeled puppy. This technology could change the face of motorcycling and beyond, providing additional safety measures as well as the ultimate in convenience. Just imagine parking your bike in a spot and not even requiring a kickstand, or stepping off of it and having it follow you as you walk into the garage.

It’s pretty astonishing tech, as you can see in the video, that utilizes several adjustments to keep the bike upright and very stable at low speeds, where a lot of motorcycle accidents occur, so this could save riders pain and money by preventing those spills.
