While they’ve made the decision to pull pro mod style cars off the list – meaning Big Chief and Jeff Lutz will be taking their cars off the list and making runs at the Top 10 with more list-appropriate builds – last season of Street Outlaws was the season of the Pro Mods. Chief and Lutz both blitzed the list in their lightweight, twin turbocharged, fiberglass bodied hotrods taking spots near the top as the season ended.

However, the other guys that are consistently at the top of the list didn’t just roll over and let them take charge. Monza, who was sitting at #4 when this clip was recorded, was called out by Lutz and his Mad Max Camaro and knew he had to step up to protect his spot. And step up he did!

Monza left on Lutz and drove out to a car and a half lead by the time the cars reached the finish line an eighth mile away, securing Monza’s fourth position. He returned to the line and called out Shawn for his #3 spot, reflecting his confidence in his Sinister Split Bumper Camaro to move back up the list.
