The Brand New Dodge Demon vs. Lamborghini Aventador… Who Takes The Win?

I think that, if you ask a group of people who know what they’re talking about in the world of wheels, they will agree that the Dodge Demon is certainly a car that, in theory, should be able to hit way above its weight class. As it’s most powerful production car ever made, it would lead you to think that this machine that is crafted for the drag strip would be able to go toe to toe with some of the most impressive cars in the world and come out on top. When push comes to shove, though, we have seen many times that, while a car may have an appropriate amount of power to be able to theoretically crush the competition, when it comes to practice, that’s simply not the way that things pan out.

This time, guys over at Top Gear have given the Demon a very worthy competitor and one that will really turn up the heat on the Mopar machine to see just how fast it can actually be out there on the strip and if we will be able to see the car live up to the expectations that it has built. Lining up in the opposite lane is none other than a Lamborghini Aventador, a car that has really burst onto the scene strong less than a decade ago and made its presence felt, flexing its muscles in a variety of situations as the 700+ horsepower monster absolutely dominates out there with all-wheel-drive in its wheelhouse.
