The RC turbine Huey helicopter that was flown at the Chopparazzi Festival in Texas

When it comes to remote control vehicles, there’s a wide range of them that start at basic beginner’s rigs and end somewhere around this helicopter.

This thing is about as advanced as it gets with a turbine engine on board to help the helicopter lift off into the air and hover over everyone.

When this thing fires up, it sounds like nothing short of a menacing monster. This is really some heavy duty equipment for something that we would be careful about calling “just a hobby.” We have the feeling that it’s more than that at this point.
