We all know the feeling very well, you’re cruising down the highway and not even necessarily doing anything wrong, when all of a sudden, you spot a police officer in your rearview mirror and your stomach drops. The next couple of minutes are rather nerve-racking as you will either get pulled over and the situation will escalate or the officer will turn off, giving you one of the most satisfying feelings of relief that you have ever experienced in your entire life. It’s a situation that pretty much anybody who has ever driven on public roads has probably fell at one point or another.

This time, we check out a group of people who haven’t necessarily been immersed in that situation but instead, decide to subject themselves to such a situation under their own will. As the motorists have been traveling in restricted lane that they weren’t supposed to, an offense that could make you want to slap somebody else in traffic for having that intense need to get to the front of the line at the expense of others who are stuck in traffic, these motorists might have spotted a police officer sitting in the shoulder and waiting for people continuing down the road. It’s at this point that of the people pull over and surrender themselves, even when the police officer didn’t even ask them to.
If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll see this collection of people who appear to think that surrendering themselves might yield a little bit of sympathy from an officer, however, in many situations, it appears as if the officer might not even know what’s going on. I think that the easy way around something like this is to try and avoid breaking the law, especially when it’s something that’s easily avoidable. Don’t worry, If you follow the traffic laws, everything is going to be alright, we promise.
