This Motorcycle Won’t Fall Over… How?

When it comes to the many concepts in the world of wheels, it seems like the guys over at Engineering Explained have our backs. This YouTube channel really takes the complexity out of some engineering concepts in the automotive world today and is able to deliver them to us in a way that’s easy to understand.

This time, the concept that we’re talking about is a motorcycle that has been designed to not fall over when ridden on. When you think about it, the idea that a two-wheeled machine would be able to balance itself is pretty mind-boggling but apparently, Honda has come up with a way to make it possible.

In this one, our favorite YouTube engineer attempts to explain to us exactly how a motorcycle is able to balance itself without human aid. The amount of science that goes into this one is incredible. When they were first wheeling these things around in the streets, nobody would have ever thought that something like this will be possible. Heck, even as recently as a decade ago folks probably didn’t see something like this coming.
