Whenever a new car comes on to the automotive scene, especially in the performance community, we as performance aficionados are all over it. For example, when the Dodge Demon came out, everybody wanted to see exactly what this thing was all about and how it would perform along with learning all of the intricacies¬†within. It was a completely new car and therefore had everybody’s interest as we watched and waited to see exactly how the monster would perform. This time, though, we check out a similar phenomenon that has latched itself onto the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro for an entirely different reason.

Now, that aforementioned phenomenon usually comes about when a car is completely new as an all-new model comes rolling out or potentially a new generation of a car that we all know and love. Normally, when we get a mid-generation reboot, there’s not all that much noise about it. Sure, some things might be updated under the hood very slightly and there might be a couple of design tweaks here and there but generally, outside of a couple of niche communities paying interest to what’s going on, the community as a whole doesn’t really grab onto these changes that will, for the most part, fly under the radar.

However, as you might’ve seen with the 2019 reboot of the Camaro, fans were really flipped upside down as a lot of them really didn’t know what to do with the car. Let’s just say that when people saw how it locked, it definitely would stir the pot on social media and made people start talking about what this thing has to offer in terms of visuals with many fans not exactly being happy that the car they’ve been waiting on came out looking like it did.

In any situation, everybody was quick to jump the gun on the renderings and the pictures that first came out before the car even started rolling onto the street and we think that, in order to give it a fair shake, you need to give it time to get used to body style and see it in real life first. In the¬†video below, you get the chance to check out the car and see what it’s all about and even while donning camouflage, you can get a pretty good idea of what this thing is going to look like and how it’s going to sound in the real world.
