Jay Leno Gives Brad Paisley a Burnout Tutorial in the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1

Jay Leno’s car collection is the stuff gearhead dreams are made of. The long-time late night host has amassed on of the most diverse collections in the world, and his reputation as a car guy’s car guy has earned him a TV show focused on him and his garage. During a recent taping of Jay Leno’s Garage, country music megastar Brad Paisley stopped by and got to take the maiden voyage in a gorgeous new ZL-1 Camaro.

Paisley showed no hesitation in climbing behind the wheel of the 640 HP Chevrolet and taking it for a spin around Burbank. During their joyride, Jay directs Brad to a parking lot so they can test out the line lock feature found on the ZL-1. Eager to light up the meaty rear tires, Paisley quickly engages the line lock and dumps the clutch… and nothing happens. Leno quickly diagnosed the problem: Brad forgot to drop the 7-speed transmission into gear. Paisley is a good sport and chuckles at his mistake before giving it another try.

The second go around goes according to plan, with the Camaro laying down some nice thick black marks, revealed once the tiresmoke cleared. With a massive grin on his face, Paisley hands the keys back to Jay as he boards his coach to continue his tour, while Jay reveals that he’s fibbed to the guys at GM so he can keep the ZL-1 a couple of extra days!
