Speed Society has teamed up with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, a non-profit that has operated since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity for the better, forever. We operate in communities all across the United States - urban and rural, Big and Little. Our mentors work with children in the community, in their schools, on military bases, and many places in between.
Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children achieve success in school, helps them avoid risky behaviors such as getting into fights and trying drugs and alcohol, and helps them improve their self-confidence. We hold ourselves accountable to our supporters by regularly measuring our impact.
Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity between 6 and 18 years of age. Our network of volunteers, donors and supporters comes from all walks of life, all backgrounds, all corners of the country.
By partnering with parents/guardians, volunteers, and others in the community we are accountable for each child in our program acheiving: Higher aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships, the avoidance of risky behaviors and obtaining educational success.
All "Charity Pack" purchases help raise funds for the partnering charity. A portion of gross sales raised by Speed Society go to the charity to support its programs
Do all my purchases qualify to support the charity?
The only purchases that help raise funds for the partnering charity are directly from the "Charity Packs" product offerings. All other purchases, apparel, accessories, car club memberships, etc. do not qualify in this promotion.
