In this video, Chris takes us inside – quite literally – the busted engine in a PT Cruiser. With only 80,000 miles on the odometer, this PT Cruiser shouldn’t be dealing with these issues, but a head gasket failure killed it prematurely. So Chris breaks out his borescope camera and gives us and up-close look at the inside of the cylinders to show what went wrong and what to look for.

For comparison, he ever takes the time to pull a plug from the engine in his pickup so we can see what the cylinder and piston should look like. This video, like all of ChrisFix’s content, is very informative and covers quite a bit of what to look for if you have a head gasket failure or if your engine has overheated. Check it out, and look around at Chris’ other videos!
