Massive Tire Spontaneously Combusts and Causes Huge Damage!

We assume this tire was already sitting at an extremely high pressure and sitting in the hot sun just pushed it beyond the breaking point. Whatever happened to cause the tire, which appears to be from a heavy equipment machine of some kind, it resulted in a spectacular explosion that sent the massive tire flying high into the air.

Upon returning to earth, the hefty tire landed directly on top of a compact car, caving the roof completely in, destroying the car beyond recognition. The tire and wheel combo, which likely weighed several hundred pounds, reached a pretty impressive height, flying completely out of the frame of the camera before dropping back onto the car’s roof.

What do you think caused this explosion? Is that black smoke a sign of something else at play besides the tire itself rupturing?
