These are the Worlds Craziest Snowmobiles!

Some of these machines are built for fun, some of them are built for utility, and some are built for researching the coldest, most remote locations on the planet. They all have their own unique features and traits that set them apart from anything else we have ever seen.

This video features sixteen of the most radically-designed snow-shredding vehicles ever built, and although some of them are only concepts, they’re all insanely cool! Some of these machines were built with the purpose of transporting crew and equipment across the frozen expanses that surround our planet’s poles, while the others were built for purely recreational joyriding anywhere there is a layer of fresh powder or a frozen lake. One of these tracked rides was even used by explorers to help complete the first overland crossing of the South Pole.
